Safe At Home, Inc.

Officially created in 2001, Safe at Home, Inc. was known as “Henry County Domestic Violence Task Force.” Services have varied throughout the years, but the mission has always been consistent- eliminating relationship violence. Safe at Home, Inc. of Henry County strives to eliminate relationship violence through education, prevention, and intervention.

Safe at Home, Inc. is affiliated with the Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ICADV) as a provider member. The agency utilizes resources from National Domestic Violence as well as Sexual Assault Agencies. If there is a need for shelter, we work with A Better Way, Inc. and Alternatives, Inc.

Relationship violence can be physical, verbal, financial, sexual or emotional. This violence can involve a spouse, parent, relative, or even a friend. Relationship violence can include but is not limited to beating, humiliation, social isolation, rape, and threats.
